Kevin Goulding - Senior Vice President , Chubb; President, Combined Insurance

Mr. Goulding is responsible for management and growth of Combined Insurance. Prior to assuming this role in 2017, he served as Regional President for Chubb Life, Asia Pacific. Working primarily in Asia, he started with the company in Hong Kong and was responsible managing Chubb’s life insurance operations in Asia Pacific. Previously, Mr. Goulding was President and Chief Executive Officer of China for American International Group (AIG).

Montel Taylor - Senior Vice President, Claims

Mr. Taylor is responsible for the strategic and operational execution of the Accident, Health & Life claim organization. Appointed Senior Vice President at Combined Insurance in 2015, he previously worked at Travelers Insurance for more than 20 years where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Business Insurance Operations, Claim Center Vice President, and Vice President of Customer Experience – Claim Marketing.

Dean Demos - Chief Information Officer

Mr. Demos joined Combined Insurance in 2001 bringing with him more than 30 years of project management, governance, business analysis and systems development experience in information technology with Aon CSG, CNA, Ameritech and Amoco/BP. In his current role, Mr. Demos is responsible for global governance and controls, systems stabilization and management and the customer and agent self-service system.

Barbara Halverson - Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Ms. Halverson is responsible for developing and applying programs and processes around talent management, recruiting and compensation and leads the human resources team to facilitate and execute general HR activities. She joined Combined Insurance in 2012 bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in human resources spanning compensation, corporate communication, talent management, succession planning, change management, recruiting, organizational design and performance management. Prior to Combined Insurance, Barbara spent more than 11 years with CNA in a variety of HR roles and also worked for Chicago Title and Trust and Prime Capital Holding.

Sadaf Siddiqui - General Counsel

Ms. Siddiqui is responsible for all legal and compliance matters for Combined Insurance. She joined the legal department of Chubb Life Insurance Company of Canada in 2012, providing legal and regulatory counsel to Chubb Life and the Canadian branch of Combined Insurance. A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York State bar, Ms. Siddiqui has almost 20 years of progressive responsibility in the financial services sector with a concentration in the life, accident and health insurance industry, both in her prior roles with a prominent Canadian life insurance company and a multinational special risk carrier.

Alex Faynberg - Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary

Alex joined Combined Insurance, Actuary team as a Senior Vice President & Deputy Chief Actuary in April, 2016, focused on reserving, data analytics, financial actuarial results, and support of Actuarial Targeted Operating Model project. In January 2017 Alex was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary. Prior to joining Combined Insurance, Mr. Faynberg had progressive career paths at Liberty Mutual, AIG and New York Life.

Miriam Connole - Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Connole is responsible for the Financial Operations in the United States and Canada as well as eight countries in Europe. She joined Combined Insurance in January 2016 and brings 16 years of experience in broad technical and commercial roles in the insurance industry as well as strong leadership capabilities. Ms. Connole was the Chubb European Financial Controller in 2006-2009 and had a progressive international career with AIG, RSA Insurance, and Friends of Life Group before returning to Chubb.  Ms. Connole also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Burford Capital Ltd.

Guy Sauvé - Senior Vice President, Managing Director - Canada

Guy Sauvé joined Combined Insurance on May 2010 and he holds the title of Senior Vice-President, Managing Director – Canadian Operations.  
His role is to develop and execute Canada’s growth and efficiency strategies. Some of his accomplishments include rolling out an enhanced sales model throughout the country in 2010, designing and implementing a new Field Compensation program in 2012 with a revision to the existing bonus programs and introducing incentive trips and conference to support the field’s dedication to Combined’s business.   Guy has also created a new, interactive and exciting environment for the Combined Insurance staff members, through new lines of open communication that includes everyone to feel part of the “One Team… One Dream” philosophy.   
Formerly from Primerica Life Insurance Company of Canada and PFSL Investments Canada Ltd., where he spent the last 16 years, first as Vice-President, Quebec, then as Senior Vice-President, Field Marketing.  In these roles, Mr. Sauvé was responsible for support and development of the Canadian sales force that constantly grew under his leadership.  This included field and general marketing support, sales force training and motivation.  Prior to his time with Primerica, Mr. Sauvé started his career in sales of financial products and served as President of a financial services start up company.

Margot Bookman - Vice President, Director Field Financial Services for Canada

Margot Bookman is the Vice President, Director Field Financial Services for Canada. Ms. Bookman joined Combined Insurance in 1979, and since then, has held numerous positions with increasing responsibilities in the Field Financial area. As Director of Field Financial Services, she is responsible for a diverse list of functions including the Licensing and Compensation of our Sales teams, and the set up, maintenance and control of the various systems necessary to scan and process customer policy applications, renewals, pre-authorization payments and other compliance documents.  

Vince Iozzo - Vice President, CFO and Chief Agent for Canada

Vince Iozzo is the Vice President, CFO and Chief Agent for the Canadian Branch of Combined Insurance.

He is a professional Chartered Accountant and has been with Combined Insurance since July 1996. In April 1998, he earned his FLMI designation strengthening his insurance knowledge.

As CFO, he is responsible for finance governance and leadership in Canada, including GAAP, IFRS, statutory financial accounting and reporting, planning and forecasting, investments, procurement, real estate and rating agency relationships.

As the Chief Agent for the Canadian Branch, he oversees management and is accountable for the Branch operations including matters of corporate governance.

Anthony Mercante - Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Canada

Anthony Mercante is the Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Canada. Mr. Mercante joined Combined Insurance in 1978 as a Sales Representative. In 1980 he became a License and Sales Trainer. In 1982 he advanced to Regional Sales Administrator. During this time he was awarded Administrator of the Year. In 1986 Mr. Mercante moved up to the position of Divisional Sales Administrator for the nine Common Law Provinces. In September 2001 he was promoted to Vice President, National Sales Administration and was appointed to his current position in August 2010.

As CAO, he is responsible for day to day sales administrative operations which include sales operational planning, budgets, product development, marketing, training, sales offices, sales governance and legal related issues

Daniel Breton - Vice President, Divisional Manager

Mr Daniel Breton joined Combined Insurance as a Sales Representative in February 1980. In the following years, from July 1980 to November 2008, he held numerous positions such as Sales Manager, District Manager, Sub-Regional Manager and Regional Manager, in the Province of Quebec, always in the same region. In December 2008, he was promoted Vice President and Divisional Manager for the Atlantic Province and East of Quebec. Since January 2012, he is responsible for a part of the Province of Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. Mr. Breton believes in and applies the “Aim High” and PMA concepts.

Réjean Caron - Vice President, Divisional Manager

Réjean Caron is the Vice President, Divisional Manager for the Centrale Division. Mr. Caron started his partnership with Combined Insurance as a Sales Rep in November 1983 and rose to Sub-Regional Manager in October 1988. In July 1995, he took over the Apollos Sub-Region ( Quebec). Two years later, in January 1997, he advanced to Regional Manager, East Coast Giants ( New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island). All through his many years with Combined Insurance, Mr. Caron has displayed the leadership qualities that are necessary to gain the attention and the great respect of his peers. Since September 2000, Réjean has held his present position.

Patrick Ouellet - Vice President, Zone Manager - Eastern Canada

Mr. Patrick Ouellet joined Combined Insurance as a Sales Representative in 1995. After serving as Regional Manager from 2008 to 2011, he was promoted to Vice President, Divisional Manager of the Patriots Division in December 2011. For two consecutive years, 2013 and 2014, the Patriots Division was the Top Division across Canada. In May 2015, he was appointed Vice President, Zone Manager of Eastern Canada. According to Patrick, a positive attitude, a good work ethic and a good discipline are the three keys which help us achieve our goals and accomplish great things.

Roger Perry - Vice President, Divisional Manager, Atlantic Provinces

Roger Perry is the Vice President, Business Development & Alternative Distribution. Mr. Perry joined Combined Insurance as a Sales Representative in May 1994. In December 1999, he was named Sub-Regional Manager of Newfoundland.  In June 2004, he moved up to Regional Manager (Newfoundland and Nova Scotia) and in December 2008, his role has been extended to  Prince Edward Island.  Roger has been the Top Sub Regional Manager in Canada for 5 consecutive years and # 1 Regional Manager in 2009 .Roger is very passionate about his career and the success of his people. He is a true believer in TEAMWORK and the PMA philosophy.

Raymond Young - Vice-President, Zone Manager, Central & Western Canada

Mr. Raymond Young joined Combined Insurance last May 2013 with an impressive track record of success in building and leading a team of close to 450 licensed representatives in Ontario for a major Canadian player in the insurance industry. Under his leadership, his team was successful in leading sales internationally for many years.

As part of Combined Insurance Canada’s planning strategy, Mr. Young has been appointed as Vice-President, Zone Manager of Central & Western Canada, which is comprised of all Canadian Western Provinces and the Ontario region.

We believe that he will bring fresh ideas to Combined Insurance, with a vision for the Western Canada business.
